Hosta J 2025 .........................

Welcome to J. I read somewhere that spring is coming. I cannot wait.

Today I went to the local Goodwill and saw this. Someone did a good thing by being an organ doner.

Two J photos for me today.

Beth, is your June Fever growing in the sun??? The color is so different than mine.

Here is one of my many June growing happily in the sun.

June Fever in the shade of a blue spruce. It is far enough away to avoid root competition.

    Paula we learn we laugh!

Beth Jack Berry is wonderful. Love the form of Jade Cascade. Which is the variegated also labeled as JC?

Sherry beautiful June & June Fever.

    Saija Justine is lovely.

Janet Day from a couple of years back. I took group shots but no individual.

Jaws is a favorite with its saw toothed edges.

June also older. I truly did a terrible job this year since I was busy redoing beds.

    June Fever is very young.

Debra J of D is a really nice one! I recall sunnywood having a mature specimen. I am sure yours will get there quickly since it is already a good size.

Jack of Diamonds - It's still trying to overcome the bad drought year.

June Fever #2 is in part sun

'Jaws' is finally putting on some decent growth for me!

And of course 'June'... Like most of you I have it in several locations. This one here was planted out under a rhododendron last year and had this funny stuff happening with I don't know what on its leaves. I didn't think it was a viral issue and simply left it to fend for itself.

And by the middle of October there wasn't any sign of what showed in the spring.

Another one planted in a pot showed this funky sporting, we'll see if this shows up again this year...

    Y'all know what? I have a June

    Here she is early

    and here she is later

I'll try this again as my post just disappeared.

    June - one of several

    June Spirit

Jewel of the Nile - Another one that has a reversion almost every year. Guess I will have a few 'Dee's Golden Jewel' soon.

I am also amazed at the color variation depending on the sun. My garden is mostly shade so I see very little golds and yellows.

Beth and Saija, beautiful Jade Cascades. Love every one’s Junes and Versions of it. Laurie I am in love with Jaws. Mbug you have a nice Joy Ride. It looks so much like Waterslide. June #3 is sooo big! Pieter, interesting leaves on June…..misting maybe? I love funky sporting! Ben, your June is so bright! I love that! Is it in sun? Paula, yours is very lovely and bright too!
Old_dirt, your Jewel of the Nile is beautiful even if it is reverting. I love the blue-green leaves with light wavy edges.

P.S. I have a June, but did not manage to get a picture of it. It’s peeking out in several pictures. 😂

Ann you are the queen of June! Yes I can tell you like June and why not, it is one of the greats.

Lisa another lovely JoD and what a pretty flower. Nice to have more Brunnera. Amazing that both JF look so happy and so different.

mbug I hope Jaws makes a full recovery! Joy Ride is tremendous.

Pieter happy Jaws has put on growth for you.

    Ben another beautiful June.

Paula June is clearly loving your garden. I think we know who will take the J top spot.

old_dirt wonderful specimens. Jewel of the Nile seems very prone to reversion (we see it on mbug's also). At least Dee's Golden Jewel is attractive too. Two beauties for the price of one!
