Sherry: Great picture of El Desperado. I like both yours and Kate's pictures of Exotic Starfish....Kate: liked the white star on Eviction Notice enough to look it up. A Tanner. I've liked the ones I've tried of his so far. This is a nice one too........I have one E. New last year. The blooms were just like this - from first to last. I liked this one and look forward to it this year:

MARYL: EXTRA BOLD is 5 inches.

The seedling is very nice. I may register it as it has some nice branching and a good bud count for this location.

Entwined in the Vine loved its new Indiana home. It was taller and better budded than it ever was in the two places I had it in Nashville.

Entwined in the Vine X Green Mystique did very well too!

I do like Exotic Starfish and the three pics posted shows just how different gardens will showcase it. I use to grow Enter Laughing and it was a great plant in NYS. Too bad I didn't take that one with me when we left.

Eleann has teeth on sepals too, I see. Entwined evidently had a very good year. Early Shift I added recently. Kate's looks very good. We don't have snow cover right now, and it is COLD.

I am still adjusting to a new computer, so it is difficult to know the best screen lighting for editing. Please let me know how they appear on your computer in terms of exposure.

Electric Ladyland was not as good as last year, but still a nice bloom.

Every Knee Shall Bow, like many others, had more spotted blooms this year. Vigorous for an Emmerich, and decent height.

Davisson's Early Shirley is a welcome sight in the early garden.

Early Snow isn't all that early. This older Stamile has been a pleasure in recent years.

Echo Beach is a Hanson that grows well.

Hanson's Edge of Irrelevance is a 5-inch flower with good height.

Existential Avatar was divided last year. It is quite tall. I have better pictures from other years. Has a bitone look here. Hanson.

Edward Abbey has that beautiful eggplant coloration. The bud count has not been anything to write home about.

Elizabeth Peacock bloomed well, despite being divided.

Mantis, your photos look wonderful here!

I sure wish that our photos were full size as they used to be in the distant past. I know we can click to enlarge, but that's not the same. You photo's look good to me too Mantis. Hanson's Edge of Irreverence is really nice. I always liked Stamilie's too. Unfortunately our heat and humidity seemed to suck the substance right out of the petals........Maryl

Nan - Elaan of Troyius looks perfect in that picture! I'm a fan of Empire of Dawn and Dusk. I have it, but it did not bloom last year.

Julia - I've always admired your Earth and All Stars.

Mantis - I like the bitone look of Existential Avatar. How often does it bloom as a bitone? Elizabeth Peacock is one I've considered adding. I did add Electric Ladyland last fall.

Brad - Egyptian Ibis is simple but beautiful!

Existential has always had a degree of bitone appearance, but not as pronounced as in last year's pic.

It had a very good year in 2024. Performance in 2025 was understandable considering division into single fans. Sometimes, something will have a great year and then slack off for some time after division. That can also happen without division. Beats me what accounts for the differences.
