We are mid Reno and stalling out. I need help!!!
We just tiled the front of our gas fireplace and would like to keep the existing mantle and tile. I am open to suggestions to replace the mantle, but not in our budget at this time.
We just had the lower cabinets installed and we bought horizontal placed shiplap to put above the cabinets on the left and right side of the fireplace.
The television will be installed on the wall to the left of the fireplace and the two shelves to the right of the fireplace will have strip lighting put in the bottom of the shelves.
I painted the mantle white and the wall with a colour called decorator white by Benjamin Moore
I do not really like it. I need help with paint colours for the shiplap and the mantle and the wall above the mantle.
I was planning on putting picture frame moulding above the mantle.
The rest of the room is painted a very light sage green.

1. What color or colors should I paint the ship lap
2. What color should I paint the wall above the fireplace.
3. What colour should I paint the mantle?
4. Anything that I should do differently?
5. Any suggestions at all?
6. Should I do crown molding?
