I think you need to figure out what you will use the most in the space . It would be best if you posted pics of the whle space too

That would be a great spot for a round table and four club chair type things. Can be used for games, extra seating for watching tv etc

Looks like a table and chairs spot. But would you acutally use them? Figure out a function first. Then the furniture to meet it. If you actually play fusball or air hocky, then that is what should be in the space.

Agree with the table/chairs idea - perfect spot for poker games if you play

I wouldn’t rush to just fill the space with something …. nothing wrong with leaving it empty until you decide what you would use or need there.

That’s very personal, e.g., I would want a ping pong table there, or maybe a treadmill.

The TV is hung way too high

How many feet do you have from the back wall to the post? Do you play board games or do puzzles?

Pool table, poker table, convertable games table, pin ball machines. If you have a lot of people over frequently, get some pub tables or nice snack tables. Other than watching sports, what else could you do down here if it was set up that way? Do you have little ones? Maybe a craft area? Cool play area with storage for everything?

It looks like a good space for any of that.
