I posted some time ago about my green kitchen paint dilemma, getting closer to painting time (I finally wore DH down...years later LOL!) and I'm narrowing down my choices.

After sitting on this quite a while and thinking about what I want, I've decided I want something light, fresh and that energizes me when I walk into this very big area every day. I'm tired of drab and depressing (you all know by now I HATE this green paint...).

It makes me happy when I walk down the bedroom hallway every morning and the sundrenched paint glows in the morning light, or when I sit in my home office during the day and the paint is a luscious soft white backdrop to my paintings and wood elements. That paint color is BM Moonlight White. But......

Even though that gorgeous paint is an off-/soft white, it reads as white in the kitchen area, and that's what I'm afraid of. Stark white walls. If I paint everything with the Moonlight, it will coordinate with all the green and wood in my home, I have no worries there, it's just that it may read as a huge expanse of harsh(ish) white.

After combing through multiple recs you all threw my way before, I went through a bunch of Samplize and couple of other sample boards, and now got these two other contenders -- BM Acadia White and BM Soft Chamois.

If you look at this pony wall, the Moonlight White is the paint going down the stairs; that's pretty much how it's going to read in the rest of the large eating area opposite the kitchen; to me it looks quite white in this room (the ceiling is BM Simply White, one step up from Moonlight on the paint strip)

Note: I'm not worried about coordinating with the painting here, I'm worried about getting the wall paint right...I can easily move the painting elsewhere.

Note #2: Moonlight White is the paint on the wall now.

What do you think? Do you like one or other of the two new choices, or should I just stick with the Moonlight White for the kitchen eating area?

(I am leaning towards one more than the other, but wanted to hear what others think).

P.S. Yes I know I shouldn't be looking at paint boards against a painted wall, but I'm not touching anything on the walls DH will be absolutely furious (and it takes a lot to get him mad --painting over what's there right now definitely will).
