Kitchenaid dishwasher beeping

Our dishwasher is about 6 yrs old and it keeps beeping. It will beep 3 times and sometimes the high temp wash light will also flash. We also don’t think it’s fully drying at the end of the cycle. Usually the light turns red then white when its complete & its not anymore. We’ve done a hard reset & also one with pushing the buttons. We don’t want to have to buy a new one. Is there a cheaper/easier fix?

You don't have the Tech Sheet with reference to decipher the fault codes? Search the model number at Whirlpool's service portal, ServiceMatters.com (use the Guest access option). The Tech Sheet can usually be found there.

Try DIY troubleshooting first and if that doesn't work, call a local appliance service company. Maybe the store you bought the DW from has a service department?

The model # is kdte334gps0. When I google the problem, I see similar issues but not the one I’m having. We ran it last night and it beeped throughout. All the similar issues that come up in a search talk about the clean light flashing, but on ours the high temp wash light flashes, even though we don’t use that cycle. there aren’t any leaks either.
