I would leave it and let the next guys figure out how they will use the shower maybe no babies .

Unless you will be using the shower before you sell, leave it as is. The new owners will decide what they want.

It's not unfinished. It's ready to have new owners decide whether they want a curtain or glass.

I would just get a cheapie spring-tension shower rod and curtain and hang it just under the arch. Pull it all the way open and off to the side during showings. No potential buyer will care. If they want to change it they can once it is theirs.

Don't do anything, let the buyer decide. It won't affect the offers you get.

^ I would probably leave it but listen out if your realtor hears feedback - if you need to address it, then I’d do custom shower curtain (lots of options on Etsy) floor to ceiling from a ceiling track as @gurukaram suggested

Thanks to all. i cant do a curtain behind arch because of the way the arch is in the middle and dont think ceiling track will work because ceiling is tiled. may just do a temporary rod that is taken down for pics and showings and let buyers decide

Agree with the others who say just leave it. If you put in glass, the new owners will want a curtain and vice-versa. :-)

Agree with @ratherbesewing curtain rid behind the arch. tons of old craftsman's in my neighborhood are set up this. i caing imagine what could be behind the arch in the shower that would prevent hanging one there.

Hard to see in the photo, but the arch has no "lip" in the middle, it is flush with ceiling tile inside the shower, which is why OP keeps saying you will see the curtain rod.

I don't think seeing the rod is an issue, since you see the curtain rod on most bathtubs anyway.

As a buyer, the arch would annoy me, as I like to use curved rods on tubs! See, you can't please every buyer!

Is the very top of the arch on the same plane as the ceiling? That would make "behind" the top of the arch non-existent.

Either place the curtain rod below the arch or leave as is for the new homeowners to do what they want.

yes, ceiling is tiled , and there is no lip behind the arch to hide rod. dont ask me why my husband did it this way ;)

It looks beautiful. Don't detract from it. Let the buyers decide for themselves.

If only for showing the house, use a tension rod. The buyers can then decide on what type of rod they prefer.

Imho if you do it now, you might just add another expense to yourself and the future buyers in case they need to redo it. I see a lot of suggestions for shower curtains, and personally? I hate those and I'd do half glass for my own use if I really had to. For all you know, the buyers might feel the same and your solution might actually lower the value in their eyes. Not to mention, anything installed permanently will likely damage the lovely tile.
