I recently moved into a new apartment and love the location and layout, but the vertical blinds in the living room, dining area, and bedroom feel dated.

I’d prefer curtains and am exploring renter-friendly options. I’ve seen ideas where a dowel or rod is hidden inside the existing blind track to hang drapery, or removing the blinds and installing curtain rods, then storing the blinds to reinstall later. I’m not very handy, so anything low-skill or handyman-friendly is ideal.

For those who’ve done this in rentals...what worked well, and what should I avoid?
