pre mixed mortars

Now I KNOW! It’s not acceptable or won’t be covered under the warranty. Buttt has anyone ever used pre mixed mortar (and what kind) ontop of Schluter ditra membrane? I will wait for it to dry if the time is the issue here. I just can’t mix another bucket of mortar dear lord

It absolutely will NEVER dry, because it dries by dehydration, and will reemusify if ever moistened again. It's 100% the wrong choice.

@millworkman oh it was a big deal and a big mess! I never wanna work with mortar again. I laid floor tiles down. In herringbone pattern and used Schluter all set like a good DIYer bc I don’t want it to move at all. It’s in the laundry room/utility room.
