As bevFLA has suggested add some color. Duvet covers come in a huge array of colors and patterns, from then select artwork as suggested. I have even used a large wreath over a bed for added depth. Colors? Are the colors in your closet that make you feel really happy, accessories that reflect your personality? That is a good place to start (if your wardrobe is all beige, maybe try another tact 😉). Sounds like a fun project and imagination is the best part
