please help with design for this wall decor

I am taking everything off of this wall in my family room, and I am really struggling with how to decorate it …since the center beam area of the wall is offset from the couch and the rest of the room. If you’re looking straight onto this wall -to the right of it that wall is all windows. Directly across from this wall is another wall with a fireplace. To the left comes in from a foyer and is an entry to the kitchen. I’ve tried a few different things on this wall. Nothing looks nice. Suggestions please!

Additional photos of the rest of the room & a floorplan with measurements would be a big help. My initial thought would be to ignore the ”offset” center beam & that little shelf above the sofa needs to go. I’ll leave the rest for the talented designers on here.

PLEASE SHOW ALL FOUR WALLS YOU'RE DESCRIBING IN WORDS! Design people evaluate an entire space even if the design dilemma is about one feature. It all has to work together. We have no idea what this room is used for, TV, entertaining, etc. Please provide approximate measurements as well.

    Nice from Beverly!

Yes, I would definitely want to pull the couch away from the corner and then address the wall with items more in scale than the tiny shelf.

I agree with all of that. That tiny shelf had another shelf to the left of it and a little bit higher, but like I said, I’m just taking everything down.

I need to see the whole space please. Post the pics here just like you did for the one , In a comment do not start another post . When doing that wait until the pics are no longer grayed before submit.

A big room needs big stuff. No teeny tiny shelving with teeny tiny decor. No puny art. No spindly delicate side tables. No frilly quasi-curtains.

BIG and substantial is needed here. You have a big sectional - choose similar accessories.

This is one of those piecemeal Design Dilemmas where it's like pulling teeth to get more visual information and approximate measurements. Over and out.

Thank you to those of you that were helpful. To those of you that are frustrated by my lack of immediately providing other pictures please just ignore my post. I am not able to get in there right now to provide further information.
    Perhaps you could understand that.

Just keep in mind that in order to help you, we need a lot more information. Rarely is there a simple solution. Whatever you do may impact the other areas. Also don’t get hung up on the vaulted ceiling. It really doesn’t affect the furniture layout.

And get back to us when you can--there's no rush.

Would a new wall colour be a possibility? Assuming the sectional is staying, a different colour would be better with it. Depends on the fireplace colour too. Will you be adding a rug?
