I have white plantation shutters. I WANT greek key ivory and black curtains. Seller says white and black would look cleaner (which I want) but I have classic home with honey oak floors and honey oak cabinets. I think black and white may be stark. I also think ivory and black would add richness. What should I do.

Do you want the whole fabric to be Greek key or just the outside trim?

you could have something like this and the trim in black and white .

Black and white. With the white plantation shutters, the ivory color will look dingy dirty.

What a lovely room! I see what you mean. The white may look too stark with all the beiges. Hmmmm. Now I'm not so sure. I actually like no curtains. :)

wowie...so amazing. thanks Genevieve. The sofa is going. Getting something lighter. The house is so natural and traditionnal that I wanted to throw in something bold. Do you think they would NOT match the chairs?

I think that the chairs are perfect with the trellis pattern , if you like you can go with the same beige of the chairs for the curtains ,the one that chose would be nice for a sofa .

You could even do this yourself if you like ,simply sew the trim on one side of the panels
