Significantly more info is needed for help. Pictures of all walls would be a start, how you use Tue space and how many people need seating, your style preferences, and most notable size of the room. A floor plan is a huge bonus.

Can you show us the exterior where the front door is . In my experince if possible a new front entry porch is often the best choice in small spaces to not interfere with the interior space . If real help is needed from here we will need a to scale floor plan of the whole area you are working with . Do it on graph paper to make it easier. Show every window, doorway ,where those lead and every measurement clearly marked . Then post here in a comment in jpeg format so we can enlarge it .DO NOT start another post

Hi and thank you all for the replies.

We use the space to relax by the fire. Onlyh 2-4 people at a time. I like traditional cand classic styles but simpole not ornate.

The exterior front door is to a shalllow covered porch and is the everyday entrance so a entryway closet would be great to keep the cold out and coats in order.
