Green exterior paint colour

We have a pale yellow weatherboard that is due for a repaint. We are trying for something a bit different to the greys and beiges that seem soo popular.Green has peaked our interest, but really struggling to narrow down on anything in particular. Only thing we are trying to avoid is anything too much on the grey side. Haven't settled on light versus dark, but leaning towards light.Got a pot of Dulux gentle calm quarter to try, once the rain settles. But I was hoping to turn to this group for some inspiration from anyone that has a green house. Any photos and colour names would be appreciated!!https://ibb.co/h1L95Qg9Located in Australia

BM Nantucket Gray is a nice color when used outdoors and paired with a creamy white trim.

It isn't gray, more of a khaki green color.

The Dulux visualizer is super easy to use, probably the best I've ever tried. Here's your house with Gentle Calm Quarter

and just to play a little with something darker, here's Olive Leaf

Play around with the tool and see what you like. You can probably change up the trim color in the tool.

Gentle Calm Quarter is a very light paint color. Paint colors tend to be lighter on the exterior of your house - you may need to try Gentle Calm Half or Gentle Calm in order for it to look like Gentle Calm Quarter on the exterior of your house.

You also need to take into consideration the sun exposure direction on the front of your home (assuming that's the most important side of your home).

I have never used Dulux paint so thanks for explaining Amy.As for a green hard to visuualize with so much sanding done to the siding .Do you get F&B paint in Aus? They have some awesome greens.

it has a LRV of 77, I would go for the next darker shade, or two.

it may look too white for you in the bright sunlight.

If you do paint your house such a pale shade, I'd recommend your vertical elements in the gables be a darker version of the same green. Maybe Tranquil Green?

Undertone is a huge decision and then decide how light, medium or dark you want to go. Bring home lots of test pots and paint large strips. Start by picking one you are really drawn to and note related shades and test those also. I think this is a lovely color.

Here’s a lighter color also with a blue/green undertone.
