HelpMeFind question

I know that someone (perhaps more than one person) on this forum have an affiliation with HelpMeFind Roses, though I do not remember who it was. I've been trying to figure out how to do something there, but so far no luck.

I've had a premium account for years, and have a garden listing there. We moved nearly two years ago, but the current owner has kept the garden - in fact she sent me pictures last spring! So I do not want to remove the listing.

However I am now living in the shadow of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. I have started a new garden and would like to make a listing for it. How do I do that? I thought I had set one up but it is not there, so apparently what I did then did not work. Should I just open a new account?

Thanks for any help.

@roseseek Kim used to be affiliated with HMF, but I don't think he's actively volunteering now. I'm sure he would be glad to make suggestions. If you don't hear from him soon, I'll email him. But it's my guess that listing a new garden will require a new account.

If there is anyone here affiliated with HMF, I've tried to donate/pay premium membership a few times lately, but the PayPal link doesn't work. I have let them know on the site, but there's been no change.

Actually I noticed that Paypal is not working, so it's not just you, Titan.

Also I just tried to open a second account. When I went through all the steps it seemed to work, but when I closed it and reopened I got a message saying that there was no such account. So I tried to set it up again and it told me that the account was already in existence.

I don't want to mess things up any further so I am stopping for now.

I'm going to email Kim, but in the meantime, you might try emailing support@helmefind.com.

You can just add another garden to your original listing. I have 3 on mine! Unfortunately My email Is defunct and I can't change my password So can't get into my own account!

I heard back from Kim (I was getting worried!). His laptop has died, so he's forced to use his phone and he wanted me to pass this along (unedited but for adding the w to How-uzzlezz, lol):

Hi John, thank you. My laptop fried its operating system and I've yet to replace it (still looking). I HATE doing any of this on the phone as the keyboard is frustratingly small. It allows me to use voice typing to email but How-uzzless won't allow voice typing on its site. Rosefolly should be able to add a second garden to her listing, then upload a plant list to that. As for the other one about the Paypa link still not being rewritten, it's discussed in the Comments section on HMF and I've responded repeatedly to many how no Premium membership will expire until the site can accept Paypal payments and notices will be sent out to alert all whose memberships require renewal. Any issues or questions about the site are best addressed as you suggested, by emailing support@helpmefind.com and/or posting them in the Comments section where they will be seen and addressed. Repairs and improvement ARE being made to the site. Using it exposes them regularly. It wasn't possible to upload full plant lists for a long time and suddenly it is. It also wasn't possible to add new nursery or garden listings, then it was, so work and improvements quietly continue.

I appreciate your assistance here, thank you. I'd post this to How-uzzless if they would work with the voice typing. It's frustrating when technology betrays you, isn't it? I hope all are well at your house. We're OK, holding our own. Thank you! Kim
