Adding a couple more layout options, would love some feedback on which you'd like the best (or what you don't like).

Option 2:

makes the tub the center/focal point. With his and her vanity (4.5' each) We could add some additional storage/built ins around the tub. We are most likely looking at doing a drop in tub, rather than a stand-alone

Option 3:

Similar to original layout in first post, but turns the shower/tub against back wall. Would use a pony wall between vanity and shower. Shower and tub would be seamlessly tied together using partial glass wall. Would allow a larger total vanity/storage area (9ft vs 8 ft).

Option 1 has the most opportunity. You strive to enter a bathroom at the vanity. If can't get a solid wall across from the vanity, strive to put a tub there. Strive to put a shower next to tub, which allows a glass wall to open up the space visually. Strive to minimize jutting corners and misaligned things.

This is just reworking the bathroom based on your concept, in this thread where moving windows and the toilet appears to now be allowable vs the last thread. However, the bed placement with no other choice because of the bath/closet doors is not optimal.

We've tried multiple attempts at creating a design that would allow the bed to go on the long wall... Including having closet access where there is only one entry door. But just couldn't get it to work without making other sacrifices (lost closet space, smaller vanity etc).

This area is basically new construction so things can be moved anywhere needed, for the most part.

I can think of a few versions with the bed on the bath wall. Your minimum requirements for the amenities are unknown though. You show a 72" tub, a 60"x42" shower, and 96" vanity.

Those are basically the minimum I was looking for. The shower could be slightly smaller. Separate vanities are an option. Tub, I think we'd probably be looking for a 66" drop in tub, but with decking I had it coming out at 72" total.

3onthetree is right. The bed under the windows and facing the door is suboptimal. I would create a small "vestibule" where the closet entrance is now, pushing the closet door back and the bathroom door around the corner. There would be minimal loss of hanging space in the closet, and the large bathroom size of 10-6 by 13-6 should be able to accommodate all of your fixtures.

I had something just what was mentioned sketched up. But couldn't figure out a very good way to fit the fixtures in the bathroom (ignore window locations shown here in bath.. they could be put anywhere.)

I like your layout with the separate vanities with just a few changes. I would move the entry door to the bedroom toward the bathroom wall and make it so it opens toward that wall. That would give you a nice corner with room for a chair and small table for reading or just putting on shoes, etc. I would also separate the windows on the bed wall so they would land over each nightstand instead of over the bed.

3onthetree has a good layout. If you go that way, it might be possible to flip the tub and vanity so that the tub is under the window. Or move the window up to the tub if that's possible.
