This is supposed to look like oak? It looks much more like pine!

I have southern yellow pine flooring in my house and the flooring in this photo looks much more like that than it looks like oak. The more clear, softer grain and dark knots are more characteristic of pine.

    Hi Annie HendricksonThat is indeed engineered white oak. It's from a new collection called Artisan Oak from Anderson Tuftex and that color in the photo is called Linseed.
