Yes! She is me. Its such a relief when plans are cancelled. Well, not always.

Leaving my dog and having to put on mascara (and take it off before bed) sometimes are just too much trouble but I've made it a point to not turn down social occasions.

She touches base on every friend I have 😂 down to the dog will be lonely and then they all say, we should do this more often😂 and I am 5 to 10 years older than most of my friends. I don’t care what we are doing, let’s just enjoy our time together.

I know some folks who are like this, and they are a PITA. Especially because they usually don't just say "no," they are always mulling it over. Thank goodness most my friends are not like this. And DH's reaction to just about anything is "let's go!"

Reminds me of a Clint Eastwood quote that DH says from time to time "Don't let the old man in" or in this case the old lady. That is not a youthful mindset.

I can relate to much of it but hate to think of myself as being a PITA and therefore don't spend time mulling - I'm either in or I'm out pretty quickly. She pops up in my feeds from time to time and is generally pretty no nonsense which I appreciate.

She's a hoot! That used to be me (I have social anxiety), but now I try to say 'yes' to everything, and just deal with the fear.
