Our bed is a simple mahogany four poster. I'd pop off the feature wall trim, paint your room a lovely green and treat the wall behind the headboard in more fitting to the style of the bed.

If possible, I think it would be the ideal time to remove it.

I would remove the paneling on the feature wall. It doesn't go with a four poster bed.

Another vote to remove the paneling and have a smooth wall behind your beautiful bed.

I did not catch the 4 poster part so I garee remove the trim on the wall it does not work with the bed style One star per wall
