We can't see enough of the fireplace wall to guess if there is any room there.

All that gray paint was never a good choice for this house, but it was obviously updated during the "gray trend" and people add whatever is trending, even if it does not complement the house.

Yeah the gray would have to go. I don’t have more photos but there are doors on each side of the fireplace.

You can put the TV in one of the corners by the window. Your other option is across from the fireplace and you'd place a low backed sofa in front of the window.

There are doors both sides of fire, it can't go above fire, You measure/draw the room, perhaps consider having NO sofa, and just four swivel chairs around a cocktail table and you use that long wall opposite the fire.

Or you pick a side, get an easel mount tv, and tuck it right of fire and stream your programming.

Depends the importance of the tv in your home, and tech makes a lot possible. .

I agree if tv it’s important it will need to he mounted on an arm that can be pulled out and around. Could go to the left of the big window and then you pull out to watch

If you will be buying furniture, consider the room’s expanse, in addition to set up/TV location. The wall on right would benefit from some height to help balance the large space…if ok with the suggestions below.

Add a low profile couch by window so the view won’t be hindered, two comfy swivel chairs opposite + a large coffee table. Volume is important given the size of the room and window, plus the ceiling‘s effect. Above set up could be reversed and decide based on the type/size of seating selected and how much interaction from couch into kitchen area is wanted.

IMO, the tv would be on the wall where the sofa is now. Then add a sofa where the single chair is now on the kitchen side and two swivel chairs by the large window. And definitely a warmer, lighter paint color!

lisedv photos are great suggestions, but seem far apart. I would suggest a “C” table for end of sofa that can also slide to the middle of sofa if needed,

Dimensions weren't given so if furniture needs to be brought closer together, a console table can be placed behind the sofa with 2 poufs under for extra seating.
