How to coordinate sofa, coffee table, and ottoman

The matching ottoman for this sofa is no longer available. I need a coffee table and/or ottoman for the room but I’m not sure what to pick. Including a pic of the couch, chairs that will go in the same room, and space. Would love some advice!

(Couch will go against the wall pictured)

Please add a scaled drawing of the room (including dimensions for walls/windows/doors/doorways/etc) if you'd like help with best layout for your room + will help determine what size/shape of coffee table or ottoman would work best for your room.

You also need to provide more info re: whether you need a place to raise your feet (ottoman) or you need a place to put drinks/etc. Some people prefer ottomans, while others prefer coffee tables - we can't really make that decision for you.

I decided that I actually wanted both = the functionality of a coffee table while also providing a place for raised feet. I had mine custom made by someone on Etsy (I was able to decide how wide I wanted the table (how much of the ottoman it covered) + have hidden coasters under the bottom of the waterfall sides in order to be able to slide the table part over when needed vs. having to lift it.

There are many different styles/sizes/wood species that can be used.

This Etsy seller allows for customization + also offers several different wood species (white oak is shown below). I grabbed this one because they are having a 35% off sale right now (have had over 3,500 sales on Etsy). It doesn't have hidden coasters - but they may be able to add them.

You can also find ones that have different joinery methods for the waterfall edges - this one below has a nicer edge joinery than one that simply uses a butted edge (as shown above):

The waterfall table is actually a pretty simply build - many people have made them DIY. This one below is a DIY (I've linked the YouTube video below) a beautiful live edge piece of walnut for the waterfall table:

She built both the ottoman AND the live edge waterfall table for over the ottoman:

You can also purchase an ottoman with a waterfall table together vs. purchasing them separately.

This one is under $500 for both pieces at NFM (the same exact one is offered at other retailers for more $):

Etsy also has similar ones that simply rest over the ottoman (the sides don't sit on the floor). I didn't like that look - plus, the ones that reach the floor can be used separately as a coffee table without the ottoman underneath it = you can use the ottoman for extra seating when needed.

Do you want something plush to put your feet on or a hard surfaced coffee table? Your sofa and chairs are very chunky and solid looking so my preference would be something lighter with legs, perhaps glass or a thin wood or metal. But if you want something to toss your feed on, I'd get an ottoman with thin instead of bulk legs.

Those ottoman/coffee table combos are awesome! Love the look!
