Mantel suggestions

Looking for suggestions for mantel in living room, see 3rd pic at bottom Hearth will have new tile in 24 x 24, see middle pic for tile colour. The rustic wood mantels are popular but i find them more for a cottage. also thinking of drywall over brick pillars and above mantel as its currently panelling Are white mantels like the below still popular?
