For the entry wall, paint the front door and add hooks to the long wall.

I know you have an opening on sidelight side of the hall, so another piece of furniture would not fit, but a long mirror would look good and be very useful.

You could tuck a chair by the sidelight, also.

For the console wall, layer the art with taller items, lamp, definitely something that spreads wide, like vase with stems. I love the look and it is easy to copy.

A chunky rug runner is a must.

I'd move the big art near the door to the side, so it's not on top of the bench. I'd streamline the pictures in Pic #1. Either with consistently sized frames, or all in one frame, with matting separating the pictures --- I can't see them, so have no idea if that makes sense.

Rather than having all those objects on your console, I'd put one or two things or nothing. On the lower shelves, I'd put some books, maybe each shelf section with one decor object. It really depends on what you have.

Basically, modern mininalism has less stuff on the walls and on the console. Is that what you really want? Are the things you have there now there because you thought you needed to fill the space (and you're happy to get rid of them) or because you liked them and wanted to display them (in which case, maybe minimalism isn't for you). It's perfectly fine to admire a style in someone else's home that doesn't suit you. I have a Queen Anne with lots of decor. My sister has a modern house that's pretty minimal. I admire her house when I visit, but it's not me.

NO HOOKS in amodern entry . You need larger art for those walls or how about a fabulous wall paper . There is nothing modern about the gallery wall or the stuff on the console table ot the little stuff hanging on the other wall or the basket .To me this is what I think of where your bench is . Then a mich more modern console table and one very large piece of art on the other wall maybe on orchid

I would also do a longer bench on that big wall. Be prepared for sticker shock on how the sofa will get quite high fast. I think the gallery wall can be adjusted to be more modern. The big letter and trinkets on table need to go.

Too much gray. Whatever you do - no more gray!

Im open to changing the decor. This is just what was here for years from other inspiration. I've learned it isn't what I like and Im not good at decorating which is why I'm reaching out for help 

If you notice in a lot of the pictures shared the colours are softer and warmer. More neutrals with cream and beige and less grey. Our walls are also great and I try and as warmth with other elements like the colour of the bench, throw cushions, plants etc
