I'm seeing floor length draperies on those windows. Either stationary panels on each side with cellular shades* to raise and lower or center pull draperies. Actually the fabric on your table could look good as panels. Otherwise tone on tone pulling the colours of your sofa and floor.

* Silhouettes would be a lovely dressy covering. Zebra blinds are more casual. Plantation shutters are the hot trend now.

I'm not seeing space for draperies on the left with those cabinets there.

I would do simple inside mount Hunter Douglass Duette shades with the bottom-up/top-down option and match the shades to the white color of your trim. Get the model that is battery operated with remote, so you don't have to climb over the sectional to open/close the right side window shade.

You could then do some outside mounted mock roman shades placed up high over the windows to use the height of the room and add some color/pattern.

I never liked the Zebra blinds. They look awful from outside creating horizontal bands.

Plantation shutters have been around for ever. I don't like them because their frame blocks quite a bit of your view and light. I also don't like having "bars" across my windows. You wouldn't have space to open plantation shutters if you wanted to have full/clear view out of the windows.

Am not a fan of sectionals. They have little flexibility in placement. Not liking that your current sectional is placed in front of your windows. Will suggest that you replace the sectional with a sofa, loveseat and chairs so that you do have flexibility with the furniture layout and you can move your furniture away from the windows.

Thank you everyone for your questions and comments. The folding table is just their temporarily as we needed the extra seating for the holidays. They are not balcony doors, just big windows so they do not open.

The problem with the sofa and loveseat is that the area is not very large, and if we start putting additional furniture, it will take way too much space up of the living area and start encroaching on the dining area, which is on the other side of this room

Do you need privacy? Light control? or both? Drapery panels will not stack back completely with on the left window and will be on top of your floor vent.. If you are okay with then covering a portion of your window when open then drapery panels would work. I would do a knife edge pleat to get the tightest stack back. iI you are short on space your sectional would have to be pulled off the windows 6" or more for them to hang properly so be aware of that.. I would suggest Roman Shades but know they are an all or nothing solution, When open there is no privacy and when closed there is no light or if you did an inside mounted woven shade with no lining little light. Your windows are too tall for a top down bottom up. What is your goal? If it is privacy but with light then consider a plantation shutter with split louvers so the top and bottom can open and close independently of each other.
