Looking for paint colour for house's exterior

Our house is wood siding and it's time to repaint it. We neither hate nor love the current pale tan (chosen by the original owner), but would enjoy a change, even a small one. We LOVE our teal front door (BM Venezuelan Teal) and had a custom house sign made to match, so I'm looking for a siding colour that fits with the teal, which we'd like to keep

For context, our house is on an acre on the ocean in Nova Scotia (first photo) and the style of the house is consistent with its location. The current roof is brown, but it also needs replacing, so suggestions about siding and roof colour are welcome.

I think Blue Haze with white trim and that Teal door and the ocean, awesome.

the teal door is a lovely color. I would paint the siding one of these colors. Become one with the landscape.

I have used SW Muddled Basil and it shows more green in the bright sunlight.

A grey combo would work well with your teal door and from afar, would softly blend into the lovely surroundings.

Some other colors to consider. Sometimes depending on setting Palladian can go very minty. Consider Sea Glass for more grayed tone. Blue Haze for more Blue toned and Woodlawn for a muddier or subdued version than palladian. Sampling on site is a must.

Yes, we would need to sample in sunlight and on overcast days. A lot of our light is affected by both the ocean and the abundant spruce trees. By the way, Woodlawn Blue is another colour I like very much. Seaglass isn't one I've looked at, but I can see how it could work for us. Thanks!

The cool roof is certainly worth looking into. It may not be the best fit for where we live, because what we 'd save on cooling in the summer might be more than offset by increased heating costs in the winter. We actually don't have that many days a year that require air conditioning.

They moved to NYC (Brooklyn) where my dad was born. but his father never changed his canadian citizenship which allowed him to run liquor from the border during prohibition! good times.
