the teal door is a lovely color. I would paint the siding one of these colors. Become one with the landscape.

I have used SW Muddled Basil and it shows more green in the bright sunlight.

A grey combo would work well with your teal door and from afar, would softly blend into the lovely surroundings.

blue the color of the ocean with a dray roof would look great, especially with your teal door.

Palladian Blue is one of the colours I'm drawn to!

Some other colors to consider. Sometimes depending on setting Palladian can go very minty. Consider Sea Glass for more grayed tone. Blue Haze for more Blue toned and Woodlawn for a muddier or subdued version than palladian. Sampling on site is a must.

Yes, we would need to sample in sunlight and on overcast days. A lot of our light is affected by both the ocean and the abundant spruce trees. By the way, Woodlawn Blue is another colour I like very much. Seaglass isn't one I've looked at, but I can see how it could work for us. Thanks!

I only came here to say what a joy it must be to live in such a spectacular setting! Nova Scotia and Newfoundland are both on my bucket list!

The cool roof is certainly worth looking into. It may not be the best fit for where we live, because what we 'd save on cooling in the summer might be more than offset by increased heating costs in the winter. We actually don't have that many days a year that require air conditioning.
