Where is the porch?

Well that’s a tiny porch. Are you asking about the porch area only, or the whole front of the house including the sidewalk?

What are your goals? Plantings? Seating? Just a nice look from the street?

Hi there. It sure is a tiny porch. Don't get me started on the letdown that is this house. We need everything done here (the yard is main issue in the big scheme, but trying to look at the bigger picture too). It's a process and life has gotten very complicated. Mostly simple I think but a little more inviting on the porch. With it being as small as it is, it has made me realize there isn't much in the way of options. So I guess all of the above is the right answer. Thank you.

It's pretty much horrible...and probabaly won't allow for much in the way of decor....we need everything. Nice from the street is a goal. The yard is sort of in the works (and we have to get it done reasonably soon). It's a nightmare for several reasons...working that out as fast as we can. Any thoughts are welcomed. This house is a major letdown for many reasons.

Though small, the porch can be quite attractive. For now, get some nice big flower pots full of colorful bloomers. By big, I mean BIG. At least 18” wide and 24” tall. And maybe something light-colored on the door as it is very dark. A dried grass wreath or swag.

For the longer term, plan for a MUCH wider step up onto the porch. The current one looks very temporary. Same for the sidewalk. Could you get more of the house stone to put a border on both sides of the sidewalk? Sample below.
