In general, I don't like cantilevered furniture that hangs from the wall, like your first image. Beyond that, I'd need to know what the rest of your hallway looks like before choosing either one.

I don’t love either of them. IKEA makes some other options that I like better. I prefer the hemnes one over what you chose. What other furniture do you have in the space,

Between the two I like the lighter colored cabinet better. It has more texture on the surface.

I would prefer the deeper one - easier to clean out. but be very careful with any choice depending on your family’s shoe size and type. Athletic shoes, boots, hiking shoes, tall dress boots, sandals all have different space requirements.

Oh seeing this I would not choose the hemnes one at all and I see why the black one is on your list. The one posted by Maureen looks like it woild go well.

I did a little DIY to the Ikea Bissa shoe organizer. I’m currently deciding if I need a bigger mirror but I had a small nook in entryway and was tired of everyone’s shoes lying all around front door.

@WestCoast Hopeful and @Maureen do you still like the cabinet suggested above, knowing that my dining table legs are fluted and all of my furniture shares a space inside of my great room? please kindly advise, thanks.

Wrong person to ask lol, as I prefer when furniture is not matching, so don’t feel the fluted legs are an issue. Think big picture: the cabinet‘s size/capacity meets your needs, what you are drawn to and suits room‘s feel overall.
