I would put the path from the greenhouse along the curve, not cutting across it. You AI image is just awful. Your hosta looks bigger than your shrubs and your arbor. You should just delete it, it's only going to confuse people about the scale of the space and the existing plants. It's equally useless as a planting plan, as the scale is so far off.

To give you any landscaping advice, we'd need to know sun/shade, zone and nearest city. Because looking at that spot, I'm thinking you don't have the sun to grow roses. While I like the bench idea, we put some chairs in a shady nook, which turned out to be Mosquito city and we never sat there.

I don't think your circle is big enough to divide into zones, but you could lay out some spaces with a hose to see how it would look.

The boulders are beautiful so remove the plantings next to them and let them define the perimeter of the space. Fill with low groundcover and more bluestones to make a rock garden.

Include a meandering dry streambed of river rock through it.

Get a dwarf blue spruce in the rock garden as a focal point. If the one you have is full size, place it behind the boulders.

@sigrid......none of my images are AI. I took the pictures from the balcony above so maybe looks stretched, as im closest to the hosta. The hosta is the empress wu which is absolutely huge to begin with.

I am zone 5b. Yes i grow climbing roses quite effectively. Although you seem annoyed, I do appreciate the time you took to comment.

Thanks for the like. I didn't realize you had so many plants with the bare winter landscape. They will look beautiful surrounding the rock garden if you go that route.
