First, decide what your kitchen will look like.

If the two rooms you show are connected, it would be best if they have the same flooring (along with every other room on that level of your home, with the exception of bath/laundry rooms).

If the two rooms are on different levels, they do not need to have the same flooring.

I think you simply need new doors on the cabinets, not new kitchen cabinets.

The floor needs a new area rug, lighting, a larger coffee table and perhaps a review of the furnishings placement.

I'm guessing your TV is mounted too high.

Measure your rooms and use graph paper to draw a scaled floorplan of your space. With window and doors market. Every thing should include a measurement. Post it.
