White lily of the valley (and boston ivy) is invasive/aggressive in some parts of the country like mine. If you are experiencing the same, you can let it run rampant, remove it or aggressively weed it back to keep it contained.

I have a contained patch of pink lily of the valley that is better behaved (still needs thinning at the edges each year) but its an old variety handed down through 3-4 generations. It just started to bloom and smells heavenly.

What do you think needs managing?

I guess I’ll know better after a season and I see what a hot mess looks like. Maybe it’s an ideal combo
