Nose, I love your Marie Pavie. It’s the one that has the full, many-petaled blooms. I’m having a hard time locating that clone. I can only find the semi double version.

A resounding round of applause from me in support of more whole-bush shots of roses. I have been making a concerted effort at least the past 10 years or so to post such photos on HMF, frustrated by the dearth of information that "beauty shots" of single flowers provide, though lovely to look at. Great topic, and please post all these great photos on HMF, too -- it needs them!

For @Markay MD-Zone 7B, inspired by your photo of 'Darlow's Enigma' , I just went out and shot a photo of mine this overcast morning. It is on a hillside and it is the rose at the top. The rose below, at the right, is "Secret Garden Musk Climber" being grown as a large shrub and the plant on the left below is Philadelphus 'Belle Etoile', just starting to bloom. DE is easily at least 16' wide (probably more) and 8-9' tall and gets larger every year:

Here it was 10 years ago, May 5, 2016, maybe 2 years after I planted it:

It devours everything in its path.... :-) But, really easy to take care of.

Markay, I could only dream of coaxing that many blooms out of my LoS. I think this is a finicky rose that requires a lot of son but not too hot.

A couple of climbers, in April:

'Apricot Glow', which is bullet-proof and so well-mannered that it practically trains itself. No longer available commercially in the U.S., according to HMF. Scented like apples. It is a centerpiece of my backyard garden, though only once-blooming. The bloom period is at least a month, though.

'Crepuscule', also trained on an arch. Not quite as well-mannered, but planted in the woody fringe of the garden where it gets zero pampering and does just fine.

Same! Your ROF is so lush and full of lengthy foliage. Just beautiful! I wish mine had a bit more foliage. I'll try to post a photo below directly from the phone.

As for LoS, there seems to be some degree of consensus out there that this rose needs specific conditions to perform. I've heard a few complaining it turns to salad with poor bloom. I'd had great hopes for it but it will have to be replaced and I think I will have to bring back Plum Perfect who fell to RRD a couple of years ago.

You really should try Moonlight in Paris, Artist. It’s a great one.

I love orange roses so Peach Swirl stands out to me although al are like a painting. What type of rose is it and how large does it grow? Lovely.

Thank you for starting this thread. I also prefer seeing photos of whole bushes to close-ups. Growth size and shape are very important for a small garden.

It's still quite cool here, so only the Mutabilis is in full bloom right now.

Lady of Shalott and Rhapsody in Blue, which I trained to be short climbers, are probably about 1/3 in bloom.

I should have more photos in three weeks if you're interested. ^_^

@catspa_zone9sunset14 your Darlows Enigma is massive! Mine is on it’s second or third season in the ground after spending it’s first couple years in a pot.

I think my Easy on the Eyes is at peak bloom now.
