Very pretty and I understand the joy of rain. So far, even though a lot of rain was forecasr for us, we have just had a little, but no big hail...there was baseball sized in one area and no strong winds so it is still good. Why can't you get into the pretty bed?

Nice to have blooms even with the raindrops. I like what I can see in your garden bed and I would agree that staying out from under the tree is probably a good idea till they take those branches down. However my fingers would be itching to get in and clean but also would realize any sudden big gust of wind could create quite a hazard. Stay safe.

Sherry, you would spot the hosta! There are actually several in that bed around the tree. Julia, I am indeed itching to get that bed cleaned out! What cannot be seen are 9 limbs lodged in that tree-all big and all dangerous. Kay and Debra, I have certainly had the rain but thankful not the tornados that struck the southern part of the state yesterday.

Very nice dianthus in the weedy bed. Are they perennial with you? Enjoying the coolness here, but frost please stay away. Rainfall now is adequate.

Yes, Mantis, the dianthus are perennial and spread nicely-so nicely that some in one of my smaller daylily beds are about to take over that bed. I usually have caladiums in the pictured bed as well but the deer love them so I don’t use them in that space any longer.
