It looks like the temps have been warmerin the morning, so many lovely blooms today! Love the trio of Pink Denim.

You do have quite a few opening! I have had several but due to rain and then cooler temps, few have been photo worthy. Wind and hail expected tonight so I hate to think what tomorrow’s blooms will look like!

Pink Denim, Thomas Tew and Marilyn Lee Boch are looking good. Is it early for Wild Cherry Wine?

No, Kate, Wild Cherry Wine is right on time with the last couple of years anyway, I checked them to see I am a bit South of you. Thomas Tew is always such a pretty one and opens perfectly.

Julia Citrix is one I have always liked as the Orange one are appealing tome. If you find room, I will send you a start.

Good to see the bloom coming on strong. Citrix has been a weaker plant here in the north. Thomas Tew is one of Stamile's best (of those that are reliably hardy), with good height. How is the bud count on Wild One?

Thank you, Mantis. Unfortunately location does effect the plants. Wild One does not have a high bud count,only five per scape usually but it does produce many scapes; sixteen this year so there is a lot of bloom due to that. We continue in severe drought as we have been since early fall. Niobe has maybe half the normal blooms this year.
