Cup plant is winning in the grass of the old horse enclosure here. It was a questionable race for a couple years, but it's finally starting to win. But not sure about yours.

This is only the 2nd year from the cup plant. That I'm aware of -- I noticed it last summer. So it looks like it's expanding at a good clip. Who knows how it got there.
