Agree with first two statements. Seriously, do creators or interior designers give any thought to cleaning and maintaining some of these light fixtures?

wouldn’t be my first choice. You might want to try to coordinate the lighting . Choose a fixture that would work with what you already have in both rooms

Options for fixtures

The barrel shade came back with avengence a decade or more ago. It's not my choice ever. Dusting with a feather duster would be a quick job. I see the black tie-in with your other hardware but I think over all you can do better.

I agree with your thought that it’s too modern for table. Seeing 3 different styles of hanging lights from one vantage point would not please me in my home. It’s hard to tell the different sizes from the pictures but would this light over table work in your room with sofa & fireplace? It’s an interesting light & might add a nice feature to that sitting room. I’d want related or same lights over the island & the table. Those lights over the island look like they’d work over the table.
