I recently transplanted 2 My Monet Weigela to another part of my yard because of crowding. Would these plants benefit from fertilizer or would that just force it to put energy into the leaves? Or would the fertilizer provide some nutrients that would help the root system reestablish? They are not looking fabulous, but I was wondering if maybe that was just a result of it attempting to develop roots?
