I would not do that wallpaper with the tile, the light and the floor , they do not work together at all. The floor might have worked if it had matching grout. I would hang a piece of art for some interest and save the wallpaper for some other space .

Thank you Patricia. Is there a different wallpaper design you WOULD reommend? Perhaps a grasscloth in a light color? Or some other wallpaper design direction to point me to? If not wallpaper, is there a paint color you would recommend instead? Thank you

Love the first wallpaper from Interiors Design South. It's been my experience that smoothing ceilings in small rooms make the rooms seem bigger. I think the light shadows would be even more pronounced on a smooth ceiling, which I think will look interesting. Get a pro to smooth it. It's a dirty, messy, difficult DIY project no matter what youtube or tiktok says. You have no idea how it was applied and how much damage will be done when removing it. In some cases, especially in a small space, it may be less expensive to cover it with a 1/4 inch drywall but make sure the intersection corner with the tile is well thought out before this option is executed. .

I like your wallpaper and think it’ll help make the other elements more cohesive.

Thanks to all for your input and really valid points. I'm focusing now on switching my wall paper selection. I do like the tiger wallpaper suggested by Interiors Design South but I live in the mountains and I think it's a little off vibe. But it did get me moving in a different direction. Would love input on these 2 new options. Am I heading in the right direction? I do prefer botanicals and no animals, birds, butterflies, etc. Thank you!

I am not familair with option 1 but it definitely has a more whimsical quality to my eye. Which your original choice has. We have used option 2 in a different colorway before and it is lovely in a powderroom. I don't think you can go wrong with either of these. Best of luck!

Of the 2 samples above, the second one stands out more; the black pops and the gold goes with all your accessories and lighting. The first one is rather boring and muted and forgettable.
