I have stayed relatively quiet on this forum until about now - I have scapes appearing! Just because I don't comment on the posts, does not mean that I am not looking (LOL). Being in zone 5, I usually don't see my first blooms until July first. I also don't look at everyone's posts because I don't want to be tempted by the beautiful of some of the southern bred plants. I shy away from the southern bred plants, as they tend to languish and then disappear. I do take an occassional risk and more often than not, an expensive southern bred plant becomes an annual. I have been tempted many times to purchase VOILA FRANCOIS, as it is gorgeous, but I am afraid it would be an annual in my garden. There are many others that look spectacular, so I will come out of lurking mode this weekend and start to comment. Have a great day everyone.
