I would not do such a statement tile in any space . I like simple timelss looks for bathrooms . I use 12 x24 porcelain tile for both bathroom floors and shower walls in a nice neutral the works with the MBR then is you want a bit of tile for an accent use it for backsplash . That is easily changed when you tire of the pattern or color. The reason I do this is to allow a change in wall color , accessories etc with no huge expense . That tile is fun maybe for that backsplash then for now a wall colr from that tile.

So much depends on the look you are after(?) and how comfortable you are with mixing patterns or want a minimal contrast. Will there be any wall tile (other than in shower) and have you chosen a shower floor tile? I’d bring the tile to a large tile store and ask for recommendations and test next to each other. Paint color is last to decide on and you may want to choose a color family, but test different shades.

LA Tile has your tile pictured. Here it is in a shower. They use gold fixtures, dark (where plant is) and light (inset shelves) wood, and white walls with a bit of dark green accent from the plant. I thought you may get some color ideas from this pic. Just my opinion but the blue tiles you are considering may be too overwheming detracting from the beauty of your bukhara tile.

I hope I don’t sound like I’m looking for the worst, but I think if you have an all-white bath with such a bright and beautiful floor, the narrative will be: our subfloor rotted through, and we had to replace the flooring with no time to match what we originally had. I would either use that tile as a backsplash or choose a color from it for the walls and shower.

I'd use a plain blue or green tile, either a rectangle or a square, on the shower walls with the floor tile you've chosen. It's definitely a statement tile, and it's fine to use if you love it. Just don't let anything else compete with it. As far as the wall color, that would be the last decision, based on how the whole space looks when it's finished. You might try a wall paint to match the wall tile color.

To successfully achieve the rustic luxe look you're going for, you probably should add another rustic touch in addition to the vanity. Perhaps a wood towel ladder or some reclaimed wood counter top accessories. I'd also use a warm metal for your fittings, to echo the gold in the floor tile, maybe polished unlacquered brass or bronze.

Will you have a tub or just a shower? Can you post a floor plan of the bathroom?

I 'd do this style with a wood vanity, Moroccan style decor,

Bedrosians has the Zinia tile on left, or the Makoto tile on the right...(diff colors/shapes)

Or go w/a Zellige tile. they have stunning colors.

Pick a soft wall color after everything is in.

I'd put the tile on the wall select something more simple for the floor.

The polished brass will look fantastic and accent the tile with the gold accents in it.

Love the tile for the floor. Such a fun way to add personality to the bathroom.

You’ve gotten so many great suggestions on how to make this tile look fabulous. I would start getting samples of the plain shower tile so you are sure they match when you’re ready to redo all of it.
