We have experienced the same weather you have. We are getting rain today,finally. Like you I have some yellowing foliage on daylilies inall day sun. I do have slot of scapes!

This seedling is lovely. Glad it is performing well.

We have been dry here too and the heat is on as well. Our plants are huge with tall scapes this year, but bud count on many seems low.

Yes, miserable weather, like mid-July. It is supposed to cool off next week. In the meantime, a sauna. Yes, uneven effects from winter/spring. And yes, browning occurring from dryness.

Julia - The color on Browns Ferry Debutante is much lighter in the evening after the heat and humidity. Wow on Llght of World! I didn't think it would have that much green on it after so many days lost in mail. It should definitely survive.

Mantis - I'm glad your getting a cool down next week. We get one too, but it comes very late next week.
