This is the quartz from MSI? if it were me, I’d really want to make sure it was not too white for the flooring and cabs (sometimes this can make other surfaces look dingy)

if this is the calacatta white you are looking at, it may be too white for you cabinets as @la_la Girl says. What is the backsplash tile color and brand? Do you know what the cabinet color is?

What don't you like about your existing countertop? Maybe you just need to change up the wall paint color, backsplash and lighting? The cabinets work with the flooring, you just need to compliment them.

Is the subway tile you have now staying? It is very white for new callacatta counters and as an accent color with the floors. If those tiles are going, use the callacatta as the backsplash as well.

I'd like this antique brass look...softer.

Agree with oncape on using the counter material as the backsplash as well.

WARNING - be very careful when installing white glass tile as your backsplash. Unless you purchase glass tile with through body color (more expensive than back painted glass tile), there is a good chance that it will no longer look white once it's installed (tends to look gray/light green/light blue instead of white).

Ilike fewer finishes in small spaces so I too would say counter for backsplash but not in the case of quartz with your range . Your cabinets are not WHITE so that counter is going to be an issue and so are the floors. I would look at a granite for both counter and backsplash and then a stainless sink and stailess pulls to keep it simple and classy. Look for a stone with some cream color in it to work with the floors and the cabinets.

If you find your floors "bother you" after all is installed, consider mapei grout refresh. It is very easy to apply and allows a range of colors - I did that years ago in a den with similar tile. I chose a lighter grout and it made the floor virtually disappear, which was my goal at the time. I also use it now on bathroom grout occasionally - gives a like new appearance. Just something quick, easy and cheap to consider.

I would focus on a whole house color scheme. The worst choice you could make is develop a color scheme for one room at a time.

I think that may be too much bright white in a small kitchen. The counter, backsplash, sink and cabinets all need to work with the existing floor, or the floor will start looking dingy.

I’d choose the counter first, then test softer backsplash samples against it.

It looks like you already have a nice white backsplash. Are you planning on changing that to something new? Adding a runner can help pull the white and flooring colors together. I have a washable rug from Ruggable in my kitchen. If I spill something on it,I just throw it in washer and comes out as good as new.
