Verbena look great this year

My annual verbena look terrific here in early June this year -- they normally don't look anywhere near this good. I think it's because I've been home more so far this summer and have kept up with the watering. I anticipate they'll take a rest after this first flush and deadheading and then pick back up again, but we'll see.

IDK what the cultivar is, it's whatever the local nursery sells every year, except I know it's not the Obsession series. This series has a lovely soft scent (in case you didn't know annual verbena were scented); IME the light purple has more fragrance but I didn't get those this year (because the nursery didn't have them, maybe they sold out already who knows)

ETA: The display will look a lot nicer when that geranium starts blooming, it's a hot pink color (same as that vinca you might see peeking out from between the verbena). She had a setback upon transplanting but should start pumping out the blooms pretty soon.
