So many massive clumps! My favorite photo is the one with Flight of Orchids and Miss Mayhem. I love how many blooms are on Mister Mayor. Mine had a really good increase from last year, so I'm hoping to see a full clump this year. The color on Royal Girls is so pretty. I added that one this Spring, but I don't know if it will scape this year. Passing Fancy is a pretty pink, and you know I like those!

Debra, Royal Girls is a good one as you know. I love the color. Hopefully you will see a scape! Miss Mayhem has really expanded her space! I tried to give adequate room but she has exploded.

So many wonderful clumps….pick a favorite? I dont remember Thumbthing Special but I really like it. Your Southern Cotton always catches my eye, love the bitones. I love seeing Indian Giver……another evergreen that gave up here. Passing Fancy also caught my eye…..so many more buds to go.

Thanks Julia-there are many clumping in picturesque fashion right now. Rain came yesterday and again today so that will help on some yellowing foliage.

Sherry, I have had Thumbthing Special for a while but it is beginning to give more scapes. I remember the most gorgeous picture you once posted of Indian Giver. Passing Fancy usually blooms a long time and then will rebloom.

So many beautiful clumps. Standouts for me were PASSING FANCY, INDIAN GIVER and SOUTHERN COTTON. BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR is an interesting bloom.

Chicago Star would lead my picks, with Miss Mayhem's tall red blooms coming in second. Indian Giver was one of the first dayllilies I grew many years ago. The color was not as beautiful in my climate as yours. Your clump looks awesome. Thumthing Special is so frilly with the yellow edge on the cream base that it is indeed special...........Maryl

What a year for Indian Giver! And another good one for Flight of Orchids. Is your Thumbthing Special more yellow as the day progresses? I see pictures that are more yellow on NGA.

Maryl, Indian Giver has been good like this for several years. It does not bloom long but it gives everything for about a week. I am not surprised you like Chicago Star!

Mantis, Flight of Orchids indeed has had a stellar year…again!! You may remember my EMWs (early morning walks) take place usually between 6 and 7. This photo of Thumbthing Special is taken around that time. It is usually pale like this then but does ”yellow up” some during the day.

I like the color on Southern Cotton--such a nice bicolor. I also like Heavenly White Lightning. That's an impressive clump of Indian Giver.

Gorgeous, gorgeous post. Isn't peak wonderful? I do love Southern cotton every time I see it. Bi colors always call to me and it is a dark purple as well. what more could I ask? I do love Chicago Star. I love the height and the size and color of the blooms. I have bought and given tha one to half a dozen people and will be doing it again. It is a great plants you have so many lovely bit clumps. Outstanding!
