JJ seedling #1 seems quite promising. Are they comparable size? Color looks very similar. Michael D's change is interesting. I do have a few that are taller, probably because of the warm spring.

Mantis - Bubblegum Queen has an 8-inch bloom on 32-inch scapes. JJ XBQ 1 has 7.5 inch bloom on 28-inch scapes. It's normally lighter in color than the sibling. JJXBQ 2 this season has 7-inch blooms on 20-22 inch scapes. In the past it had 7.5-inch blooms.

It appears your seedlings are doing much better this season. I hope you continue to see tha pattern on the Core Values X, it is lovely.

I am happy about the cooler temps this week, maybe a little more rain. There were 17 tornadoes in the communities around us a fewdays ago., the worst was in Streator , about 40 miles from here.

Sherry - That's a lot of tornados! I didn't realize there was damage in my neighborhood from last Monday's storms/tornado until the weekend. Two really big trees were down in the next block!

The seedlings look happy and are looking good. I really like the Judy’s Jewel seedlings but the Integrated Logistics seedling looks really pretty as well. I’m glad they are settling in.

Kay and Kate - Thanks for your comments on the seedlings. I've been lucky that most of my seedlings are doing as well or better than they did in Nashville.

Maryl - I would call both Bubblegum Queen seedlings rose pink. The color on Number 1 is much darker than normal because of the cool temps. Here's what it looks like normally when nights are not in the 50s.

Lovely group Debra. You should be so proud of your seedlings. We were at 47 this morning but I love the daytime temps these past few days. Lots of garden work got done.
