Mixed materials/style kitchen cabinets handles

I'm thinking of changing the handles on my top kitchen cabinets from metal to wood (similar to the metal ones pictured here). They are a crescent shape and I would choose the dark oak finish offered from the manufacture to contrast with my cabinets but tie in the wood in my table and chairs. Would that be too much going on?

Your inspiration kitchen looks like they used the same material/finish for all the pulls, but changed the shape on those 8 main upper doors. You want to change the shape and the material.

What you have looks just fine.

I wouldn't do uppers in a different finish/material. It will just look like you ran out of material, or budget, half way through the update.

If I did the bottom ones they would be mostly 1/2 circles. Not sure about that. Would I face them up or down?
