It's a beautiful stone. Please be sure that you can do some testing on your slab(s), and make sure that you're comfortable that the fabricator will stand behind their work. There have been many threads of this forum from people whose white quartzite is staining from moisture or silicone (?) used at installation. (Search on 'quartzite staining' in the search box.)

In some cases, the stone wasn't sealed at the faucet cutouts. In most if not all cases the stone looked beautiful at install, and stains starting showing up days or weeks later.

No one here wants you to spend money on a stone that breaks your heart! So please do lots of research. You could also search on the stone name and reach out to authors of those posts to see how theirs is holding up. But testing on your slabs is crucial.

Yes, I did a ton of research on this stone. We are going to be very careful on making sure everything is sealed and wait the amount of time for it to dry out and all of the tips that we’ve been given.

Many quartzites cannot be made stain-proof by sealing. You can be as careful as you can, have a beautiful installation for several months, then the stone starts sucking up stains, particularly at edges. The cures are very hit and miss.

If your fabricator will not warrant the stone from staining, as in complete replacement, don't buy it.

Home Depot has a 20-year seal warranty for food and beverage staining. It is sealed twice before it gets installed. You can preview their quartzite selection for your area by looking at homedepot.com under "countertop installation". They only charge for the SF total used if it is a standard Home Depot Quartzite. They also can get other Quartzite Slabs from local suppliers to fabricate and install with a Custom Quote and full slab purchases.

I know the risks. I have talked to just as many people who have had zero problems. If problems persist we will tuffskin it. I made the post to see if people can show me pictures of their bianco superiore.

What good will it do you to see this stone in another home? The environment, and the lighting will differ from yours.

You sound annoyed at those who have offered warnings about issues with quartzites. You say you’ve done all the necessary research. You’re committed to this slab. Then purchase it, and get on with your renovation.
