FFO and Clumps Today

I think I'm either at peak or nearing peak today. We've gotten about an inch more rain last night and today, and I'm seeing many instant rebloom scapes coming!

Diviner's Desire is the new Derrow I got last year that is just now blooming for the first time. The scapes are short (about 24 inches) but full of lateral branching and buds. The registered height is 36 inches. I wanted this one because it's a taller child of Emmerich's Desire of Nations. It's not showing much edge in the cooler temps.

Delightfully Yours ffo - This was new last year and planted in late fall.

Maui Sunrise has started blooming.

Dancing Flamingo X Neon Flamingo #3 in back of the Open Door clump.

Bubblegum Queen rocking a dozen eight-inch blooms today.

Perseus' Sandals X Jumping Jack Flash still has plenty of blooms.

Roman Cohort X The Ultimate Sacrific had five blooms today, but they were not close together. The blooms are larger than in the past - 6.25-6.5 inches. Bud count is still 12-13.

Bucklebury Ferry ffo - Great color contrast on Nancy's intro! This is one I received last year.

$exy Samantha X Bubblegum Delicious #1 showed darker color today, but the camera did not make it as dark a pink as it was in real life.

Wow on that Bubblegum Queen clump! It looks fabulous. The Roman Cohort seedling has wonderful color. The Perseus Sandals seedling is still looking good. And you know I like Lunar Empire!

That Bubblegum Queen clump is a pretty thing and, of course, I always love to see Perseus Sandals X Jumping Jaack Flash. It is such a showy clump.

At Peak??? Goodness that is a surprise. Lovely post and I do like Bubblegum Queen. She is rocking it for you this year. Maui Sunrise is blooming here. Lots more blooms to go.

Julia - I still have some mids and MLs that have not started blooming, but most everything else is. The ones that started blooming the week of June 7th are finished. I'll show some garden shots later this week.

Of course I like the Derrow intros. BUBBLEGUM QUEEN clump looks outstanding. $exy Samantha X Bubblegum Delicious #1 seedling looks great.

S. Samantha seedling is a beauty. Lots of rose blooms with frilly white edges. But both your pinks here are pretty.....Maui Sunrise is interesting in your collection...........Maryl

Kate - Thanks for the comment on the Roman Cohort seedling. It does have terrific color and a large bloom size. Its plant habit is the best of my more recent Ultimate Sacrifice crosses and the one that stands up best to extremely cold winters. Still only 12 buds, but I have it planted in bad place where it is wedged inbetween cultivars with taller foliage.

Interesting to see Diviner's Desire. If a particular flower is very nice, I think that 12-14 buds is quite acceptable. Indeed, it is more than many of my cultivars get. Great to see BQ performing!
