I think green goes best with that woodtone, but that won’t match with your curtains. I would do your bottom half of the wall in the same blue color as your curtains and then above that paint in an off white shade. I used SW Drift of Mist in my living/dining room with a similar blue shade and it looks nice.

If you are keeping the draperies, another option is a darker blue-gray paint color. BM’s Evening Dove may not be an exact match but below is a rendering using it as an example. I just went from a light to dark paint color above my dining room’s wainscoting and love the change.

Yes, my comment was the same but reverse of the image attached with the blue on the bottom. Both would look nice. Just depends if you like dark or light rooms 😁

Yes, but I wouldn’t use a stark white. Off white/light beige color. And I would make the crown molding the same color as the wall.

I would leave the wainscotting white like it is, and find a blue to go with the draperies to go on the top, like said above. It looks so much nicer in the picture.
