Plant a garden between the path and the right side of the house. You want a reasonable amount of height.

Landscaping is your answer, your house is fine ( I prefer assymetry ) but your home is begging for some nice, creative landscaping.

Replace the windows left of the front door to match the other two. Do that first and see how you like the color you have now.

I would replace those two windows first....it will help with the asymmetrical look you don't like. What you do with the chimney color won't make any difference. I think your home is very attractive and interesting. It is just those two windows that drive me nuts ( and the front door thingy).

I wouldn't strip the chimney. I would want the door to be the focal point, not the chimney. Here's a quickie sketch so you can see:

As for the windows, the two flanking the chimney look non-operable. If there's a bedroom in the left corner, code requires it to have an operable window.

^^^ The replacement window could be similarly paned sash windows the same size as the windows flanking the chimney.

Move portico slightly left to better center with the roof dormers. It keeps existing structure but improves symmetry.

Celery's porch with a large shrub on the righthand corner will mostly solve your problem. I like chimneys better not painted, but stripping the paint isn't going to help with your symmetry problem. AI, of course, never worries about how to make a porch roof fit with your existing roof, so if that's the direction you want to go, you probably need a builder or architect to make a view of your actual house.
