Another crop of lovely "faces. Since I am partial to bi-colors, Sandhill Shine really appeals to me. Regina Sitko is striking. Jazz Me Blues is a color combo that would catch anyone's eye. oranges are usually something I like and Belief in Vein is no different. All the purples are so pretty. Very nice post....I wish you rain if you need it or clouds for photos whichever is more helpful.

I like the looks of Electric Ladyland! Has it been a good grower for you? Lovely shot of Black Falcon Ritual! Belief in Vein does look showy, and you can't beat the classics like Bird Bath Pink and Mary's Gold.

If buds are too cramped, the resulting openings are not pleasing, even if they all open. For maximum effect, there should be some spacing. Dennis Russell this year also has this issue. One scape has 30 buds. DR is well branched though, while Holy Kiss not so much.

Electric Ladyland is growing quite well. It is just coming into bloom. Last year, it was not as good as the prior year. We shall see. This particular bloom was in a pot (I had a spare fan, so potted it).

Pinewood Lily Pad I have not grown.

Regina Sitko is so pretty in early morning photos-alas, in my garden it quickly fades even faster than most. Electric Ladyland is a pretty bloom. I like Sandhill Shine’s look. Pinewood Holy Kiss is new this spring and I look forward to a comparison. I am drawn to all the coloring in Mai Tai

I agree Mantis with some daylilies being too heavily budded. Nice group of blooms. Are you watering your garden because I could not tell you have any foliage issues. The Pinewood Holy Kiss looks to be very similar in color and form to Korths Pinewood Lily Pad .

This rainless period will not break for me here till tomorrow when rain is predicted (if we can belive the weather app) but still hot, hot, hot till later next week. Relief is coming.

No, I am not watering. I don't see a dry spell in the long-range forecast, so perhaps there is hope. There are lots of foliage issues with the heat after a cool and moist period. Graphic Art is one that has severe foliage issues. And the bugs are a plague, loving the tropical weather.

Yes, Kate, Regina needs later shade. Such a shame for all these flowers being fried just before peak!

I will agree that PINEWOOD HOLY KISS is well budded. Mine is not blooming just yet, but it is loaded with buds. Branching is 3 way, but there will be crowding. ELECTRIC LADYLAND really catches my eye. SANDHILL SHINE is really attractive. I only have one of Boatwright's introductions, RATTLESNAKE RAKE and it does well for me. Any feedback on how his other intros due this far north? I have been eyeing THREE STRIPES, but I hear that increase is slow. I have also been eyeing SANDHILL SHINE, CRANBERRY PINK ICE, GRANNY BROCK, MIRACLES HAVE MESSAGES, PRETTY INTENSE and WAS IT WORTH IT.

Electric Ladyland, like many others, is less intense in the heat. Of Boatwrights, Makayla Jenelle grows well here; Maryl has also grown it. Chocked Full of Color is a dormant, so should do well. I see that Was It Worth It is also a dormant. Other than that, most of his intros do not enjoy the north. I wonder what happened to his program, as the disabling stroke came suddenly.

Mighty in Battle is quite a stunner, as is Black Falcon Ritual. I used to have the latter, but it didn't like something here and I had to reluctantly get rid of it. Pinewood Holy Kiss and Jazz Me Blues also stand out for me.
